My thought had been to organize the condo association's calendar around the usual meeting day of the Board of Director - the third Tuesday of the month. But life and holiday schedules get in the way.
The meetings for October, November, December have to be changed in order to accommodate one case the general manager's travel schedule and in the other the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
In addition to the schedule change snafu, one of the Board members resigned after the last meeting. The remaining Board members are left with the unenviable task of appointing someone to fill the seat until the next annual meeting, scheduled for April.
An announcement went out asking qualified unit owners to send a letter of interest to the General Manager and the Board would consider the applicants at the October meeting.
There are several candidates that are interested. We will see about about a new Board member in November.
